In a rundown world where Tolkien meets Bladerunner the only thing that keeps man alive is the human psyche. Indeterminable hope, the ability to dream and envision a better place. More and more souls are lost to the advances in technology fusing man with machine. With more and more humans becoming cyborgs mankinds hope of existence is dwindling. To make their lives worse a cult group called the Hunters sole existence means the destruction of humans for their survival. These undead like aliens feed off the energy from the human mind. They can smell it a mile away and much like vampires will feed on a human until all remaining memories and thoughts have been drained leaving the host in a catatonic state unable to perform even the most menial of tasks. These hosts eventually get collected much like wild dogs and are transformed into cyborgs to serve one of the larger corporations that own the cities. Thus is the struggle of mankind in this cyberpunk world.

This particular painting is the mount that serves the Hunters. The hunter's control these beasts through an electric collar around the neck that has nodes embedded into the beasts head and neck that they activate when necessary to keep the beast in line. I was going to put a collection of heads on the spears but felt it was unnecessary and didn't stick with the story of the characters.

Any feedback is most welcome and I hope you enjoy this piece as much as I had painting it.
